A few vials later….

Yesterday I went to the lab to have some blood work done. I had made an appointment so I took my lab order and showed up early….only to wait. While waiting, I started counting how many tests were listed. Eleven if I remember correctly.

It wasn’t until the lab tech started drawing blood that I realized how much blood that meant. Normally, they just take two vials and good to go! Well, she did the normal two and then grabbed another handful of vials.

At that point I was light headed and encouraging myself, just a few more!Blood Vial

Then I heard her grab ANOTHER handful. Eesh! Bring on the rising temperature and sweats. She asked me if I was ok, which I replied in an affirmative because if she stopped she wouldn’t get to go back to it!

Thankfully I didn’t have 11 vials as she apparently had to mix some and there were other tests so I survived it; but, going back to work…..

……BANG! Head on the desk. Forget posture, I could only slump. So I headed home early, plus my back started spasming.

Note to others, don’t mistreat and malnourish your body for two years. You will pay.

About Traveling Mosaic

I'm on a journey in this world, hence the "Traveling" part of the name. My life is also made up of pieces that, when the Master completes it, will be a beautiful Masterpiece, hence "Mosaic."
