Yesterday, as we (Wycliffe USA) celebrated Scriptures that have been completed or reprinted, I rejoiced with the people who can now learn about God in the language of their heart – the language they grew up speaking.
I also look forward to the day when the current number of 350 million people who have no access to Scripture in their heart language is zero.
Being assigned to serve in the US, it’s sometimes difficult to connect how I have a part in these Scriptures we celebrated yesterday. But I am a part of it! Through my serving and sending new personnel overseas, my financial giving, my encouragement, my prayers – I have a piece of the blessing that God has given.
To close out our celebration today here at Wycliffe, our leadership emphasized that “What you do matters.” From the Translator to the IT person to the Cook to the Partner – What you do matters! As a reminder they personally handed me this reminder:

What I do at Wycliffe USA’s headquarters matters
And so I hand it to you (via the picture below), my partners through finances, prayer and encouragement. What YOU do matters! You have a part in these Scriptures and giving hope to people around the world. Thank you for joining me and others in eradicating Bible poverty and bringing Light and Truth to the world!

What YOU do matters – for ETERNITY!
