Moving anywhere always gives one the chance to get rid of junk and reorganize. When I packed up my room and moved back to my parent’s house this past weekend I thought I had already done some cleaning out – until I saw my stuff fill up the back of my mom’s minivan.
It may have something to do with my lifestyle and that I want to limit what I have, but it just seemed like too much…especially considering I knew I already had stuff at my parent’s house. So I’ve been de-cluttering as I’ve unpacked and packed everything away. They funny thing is that my jackets take up a fourth of my closet, yet I live in Florida!
Some may call it extreme, but I’ve even catalogued my books, CDs and DVDs. Wow, what a job. Thankfully most had already been catalogued. But the tally runs 97 DVDs, 92 CDs and this….377 books double stacked and squeezed on my bookshelf. And I must confess, I think some are loaned out and not catalogued yet!

A small collection
So, if you want to borrow a book while I’m gone I can tell you if I have it….just not where on the shelf to find it! 🙂 Now I’m adding to my e-book collection since that’s more packable to take to Africa.
I just found it hilarious and ironic that you have a book titled “A Chance to Die” right next to a book titled “Dressed to Kill.” 🙂
Haha! Didn’t notice that.
Wow Peru,
I thought I had a lot of books!
