How many countries can you touch in one day?

After Rwanda, we flew to Bujumbura, Burundi which was quite different. I basically spent one night there as I left the following evening at midnight for a two week Language Learning Acquisition Course in Morogoro, Tanzania. The answer to my question is that I was able to touch four countries in one day as I flew from Burundi to Rwanda to Kenya to Tanzania. I spent the night with the family of one of my deaf friends and managed to figure out how to get to the meeting place for the 3 hour bus ride to Morogoro.

I survived the second day on sleep depravation until the evening hit and I ended up with an excruciating headache. Apparently my back desired to make it’s feelings known that it hasn’t like the however many “beds” I’ve slept in. Praise The Lord it was gone by morning so I could focus on the course. So far so good as I relearn how to learn languages as well as learn how to help guide my team in learning when I return home.

Today though, I took the break time to swim and try to stretch out some muscles. Oh what I’d give for a good chiropractic exam and massage right now! But the swim helped. Plus, it was under this view that I swam. 🙂
