Those Hands

Have you ever thought about what your body will look like when you go to heaven? No more scars, limps, aches and pains….(Before you launch into a theological debate on whether you will or will not have a physical body, I’m looking at Christ’s example. He did, so I’m assuming we will as well.)

Now, stop and think about Christ’s resurrected body. He was still recognizable for who he was. He is God and could have chosen to rid his body of any “imperfections”, as we might call them.

Yet he chose to keep his scars.

Almighty God chose to keep on his hands the scars of redeeming a people unto himself. And every time he looks at his hands, he sees those scars…and sees you!

About Traveling Mosaic

I'm on a journey in this world, hence the "Traveling" part of the name. My life is also made up of pieces that, when the Master completes it, will be a beautiful Masterpiece, hence "Mosaic."
