….when you receive a picture like this:
Some ridiculously super lucky and blessed guy has laid claim to my little sister’s heart. (Don’t worry, I’ve already threatened him that if he ever hurts her I know people all over the world so he can’t escape.)
I’m now receiving texts of wedding dresses, questions about when I can be in the US, color of dresses, location, etc…I’ve already told my sis that I’ll be there…and warned them about eloping – I still have to be there.
And my older sister sends me these:
Life overseas is hard when you miss out on important family events. It’s harder when the time differences are crazy and make it hard to talk. But I’m blessed by family that tries to keep me connected despite it all. Family means a lot to me. Those who truly know me know how deep my loyalties run and that I’d do anything I can for them.
…..and so it’s moments like these that keep me going; the moments I live for.
You have a gift for being incredibly transparent and upbeat in your updates. May you continue to feel God’s tangible presence all that you do and wherever you are.
Thanks friend. 🙂 Miss you!
Thanks for the close up of the ring! see you at the wedding, whenever, wherever!
